Hi Dave,Thanks for the feedback and the kind words. 🙂We are tracking the AirTurn feature request in our internal feature tracking system, and I’ve added another “vote” to it on your behalf.Other musicians have asked for similar things, like making use of the iPad bluetooth keyboard, or possibly integrating with CoreMIDI to enable MIDI based control of Anytune. So many possibilities. There’s no doubt that having “remote” controls over Anytune while practicing would be a useful add. Now we just need to find time to build it! 😉Sean.Tony WacheskiParticipantMay 15, 2013 at 8:26 amPost count: 100Tony WacheskiParticipantMay 15, 2013 at 8:10 amPost count: 100Tony WacheskiParticipantMay 14, 2013 at 7:26 pmPost count: 100Tony WacheskiParticipantMay 12, 2013 at 10:07 pmPost count: 100Hi!Glad to hear you like Anytune!
At the moment, you would have to email yourself a copy of the settings and import them on the other device. Not ideal, but do-able. If you need more details about how to do that, let me know and I’ll walk you through it in detail. We do have plans to introduce syncing in a future release so that you’ll be able to do it much more easily and transparently than you can now. We had originally been looking at using iCloud to do the sync, but as you may know there are quite a large number of issues for third party developers who want to make use of it. This is quite unfortunate, as it really would be ideal if it worked reliably. As a result, we are looking at alternatives, and that has caused it to take longer than we’d like to introduce syncing.Sean.Tony WacheskiParticipantMay 11, 2013 at 8:05 amPost count: 100Tony WacheskiParticipantMay 9, 2013 at 8:29 amPost count: 100
Hi Mathew,We have been doing some small feature improvements that you will see coming out in Anytune 3.8 shortly. Transcribe mode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrkocAr4wggDownload import: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p25Br_-SbmMAfter 3.8 comes out, we will be turning our full attention to the Mac port of Anytune as our main priority. We do have some background research on-going for vocal/instrument reduction, and some of the Mac related work will make it easier for us to put an EQ on the Mic-In. However, I really don’t have a timeline for either of those features at this point. Every time I give out dates they are always off by more than I’d like. 😉Sean.Tony WacheskiParticipantApril 18, 2013 at 3:01 pmPost count: 100
Hello,At the moment, Anytune is an iOS only app (iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch). We are actively developing a version for the Mac desktop now, and hope to have that ready later this year.We have not made any decisions at this time on porting to Windows or Android. Thanks for the question!Sean.Tony WacheskiParticipantApril 16, 2013 at 8:33 amPost count: 100
Hi Nigel,Sorry that you had to learn that the hard way. 🙁Right now, the closest we have to what you are looking for is “Export Original Song and Settings Via Email”. That will create an email which includes the original song, as well as an atcfg file that includes all of the marks.Of course in your case where you may have recorded a very long session, sending it all in an email is far from ideal. We had discussed internally the idea of creating an Anytune “project” file that would probably be a zip file which includes the settings as well as the song itself.Or were you hoping that we could include the audiomarks as part of the export for song sections? ie: if you were to create a loop, and export just the loop to have Anytune include the marks that are in between the loop start and end points?Sean.
