I use anytune (Demo Version 1.2.1) on Mac (Yosemite) and have an issue with play/pause when hitting the space bar.

When I play a song and then hit the space bar, the song pauses. = good!
When I hit the space bar again, the song does not play from the position I have hit the bar to pause it, but it jumps to the position where a “red arrow pointing to the right” is. = not what I have expected!

The red arrow can be moved around, and it always restarts at this position.

Question: How can I pause a song and restart the song from the same position where I have paused it?

    Hi there,

That sounds like you’ve enabled Anytune’s Transcribe mode.

Select the Control Menu and deselect the ‘Enable Transcribe Mode’ option (keyboard shortcut Alt-T). It should then behave as you expect.

Sean, many thanks, you made my day 🙂

    So it’s a feature, not a bug!! Great 🙂

I will now buy anytune, definitely. It’s the best practice tool I’ve ever seen.

Yup, in this case it’s definitely a feature. Which is of course not to say that we don’t have any bugs. 😉

This video is for iPad, but it works the same way on the Mac (if you are interested at all in transcription and transcribe mode).

Always happy to help when we can.

    Cheers!

    Sean.
